Treatments are typically well tolerated and completed in the same visit as your microneedling, Morpheus8, or scalp session. Expect temporary redness, warmth, or mild sensitivity that settles within 1 to 3 days for skin, and mild scalp tenderness that resolves quickly. Improvements appear gradually as your skin or scalp responds over the following weeks.

• Arrive with clean skin or a clean scalp free of products.
• Avoid retinoids, glycolic acid, and exfoliants for 3 to 5 days before treatment in the area to be treated.
• Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil for 3 to 5 days unless prescribed by your clinician.
• If you have a history of oral cold sores, tell us in advance so we can start an antiviral prior to facial treatment.

• Keep the area clean and avoid makeup, heavy products, hot yoga, saunas, and swimming for 24 hours.
• Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating moisturizer. Apply broad spectrum SPF daily on treated skin.
• For scalp sessions, wait 24 hours before washing hair and avoid harsh hair products for 48 hours.

Most clients choose a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for best results, followed by periodic maintenance based on goals. Visible improvements typically begin within a few weeks and continue to build across the series.
